Bryhali Overview
Bryhali is a prescription medication used to treat adults with plaque psoriasis. Bryhali comes in a low-concentration formulation designed to limit exposure to the negative side effects of steroids which may include thinning of skin (atrophy), stretch marks (striae), spider veins (telangiectasia), lightened skin (hypopigmentation) and rash (allergic contact dermatitis).
Bryhali belongs to a group of drugs called topical corticosteroids. It works by activating certain molecules in the skin to reduce swelling, redness, and itching.
This medication comes as a topical lotion. Apply a thin layer to the affected area once daily. Do not use Bryhali on the face, groin or armpits. Wash hands after application unless you are using the medicine to treat your hands.
